Hey Martin, great question!

I used to use a third party platform called Hootsuite quite a bit to manage our Facebook Business pages. This allowed me to look at all feeds at the same time, without having to go back and forth between pages, as well as schedule future posts.

I have stopped doing this, because the algorithm that Facebook uses (EdgeRank) to determine the reach of each post, doesn't agree with third party apps. Facebook has since added in a scheduling function so that you can now set up a post to appear in the future when you are away from your desk.

Because I can schedule posts directly through Facebook, and because EdgeRank penalizes third party applications, I find that posting directly through Facebook itself works the best for me.

Thanks for asking!
